The New Mexico Shooting Sports Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation which has the following purposes: (1) To promote social welfare and public safety, law and order, and the national defense; to educate and train citizens of good repute in the safe and efficient handling of small arms, and in the technique of design, production and group instruction; to increase the knowledge of small arms and promote efficiency in the use of such arms on the part of members of law enforcement agencies, of the armed forces and of citizens who would be subject to service in the event of war; and to encourage the lawful ownership and use of small arms by citizens of good repute. . . .

SCOPE is a civil rights organization focused on the protection and preservation of the right of firearms ownership as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.”

“The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association is the state’s largest and nation’s oldest firearms advocacy organization. Since 1871, our organization has been dedicated to the preservation of Second Amendment rights, firearm safety, education and training, and the shooting sports. • Timely provision of names, addresses, and phone numbers of people necessary to contact regarding pending legislation or regulations; and
• Organization of support for, or opposition to, pending legislation.

The Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) was founded in October 1994 as the Northern Virginia Citizens Defense League (NVCDL). The group was incorporated as VCDL in May of 1998. VCDL is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization dedicated to advancing the fundamental human right of all Virginians to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I Section 13 of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

“Virginia’s Oldest Gun Rights Organization.” “VSSA provides a united voice to all levels of government to defend the shooting sports and firearms ownership.” It also “unites shooters, hunters, sportsmen, collectors and all other law abiding firearms enthusiasts to promote the safe and responsible use of firearms” and ” promotes the development of the shooting sports and the facilities necessary to the shooting sports.”

“Dedicated to the Collection and Preservation of Firearms” including, among other activities, “Support for the exercise of the fundamental right of citizens under both the Washington State and United States Constitutions to possess and use firearms for a variety of legally protected purposes including: defense of the country, self-defense, recreation and sporting activities.”

“The West Virginia Citizens Defense League (WVCDL), West Virginia’s largest pro-gun lobbying group, is a non-partisan, non-profit, all-volunteer, grassroots organization of concerned West Virginians who support our individual right to keep and bear arms for defense of self, family, home and state, and for lawful hunting and recreational use, as guaranteed by Article III, §22 of the West Virginia Constitution and the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.”

Our organization believes in the founding principles of our country and our constitution: That all are created equal, that governments exist to protect the rights of individuals, and that governments derive their power from the consent of the governed. The Second Amendment of our Federal constitution explicitly affirms one of the limitless numbers of rights we enjoy as human beings… The right to keep and bear arms. We believe that “Open-Carry” and “Conceal Carry” are choices to be made by law-abiding citizens based on what suits their needs best. Our mission is to preserve, advance and expand these basic rights using an “all of the above” approach that includes: education, civil litigation, media/public relations outreach, and grass-roots legislative activism.”
